Due to the partnership between Crunchyroll and FUNimation these shows will be split with the Japanese audio, English subs version being on Crunchyroll and the English dub being on FUNimation. Starting off is a series Crunchyroll didn’t announce.
Starting off is Tales of Zestiria the X which will not be on Crunchyroll. The dub will stream on FUNimation Sundays starting January 22 @ 7 PM PT and it is unknown when and if the sub will stream. FUNimation streamed the first season in the summer. Both seasons are based off the Bandai Namco RPG which released on PS3 in 2015. The director is Haruo Sotozaki at ufotable. FUNimation describes the series as:

Nest up is Akiba’s Trip The Animation which has no times or regions announced for Crunchyroll but FUNimation has announced this simuldub will be launching 30 minutes after the Japanese broadcast, which will be Wednesdays starting January 4 @ 6 AM PT, however FUNimation is warning some delays may occur. The series is directed by Hiroshi Ikehata at Gonzo and is based off the PS Vita game: Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed released in Japan November 2013 from Acquire. FUNimation describes the series as:
Based off the hit game comes a new series about the danger lurking in the Otaku heaven of Akihabara. Vampires with an ability to take over anyone they bite seek their prey in this anime fan’s paradise. Next is Masamune-kun’s Revenge which Crunchyroll will stream Thursdays starting January 5 @ 8:00 AM PT worldwide except Asia. FUNimation’s dub will go up Mondays start February 6 @ 6:30 PM PT. The series is based off Hazuki Takeoka and Tiv’s manga which has been running in Comic REX since October 2012 and has been released in English by Seven Seas Entertainment since June 2016. Mirai Minato will be directing at Silver Link.. The two describe the series as:
“I’ve returned to this town for revenge!” Eight years ago, Makabe Masamune, a weak and chubby boy, was harshly rejected by the beautiful Adagaki Aki. Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is the next series which Crunchyroll will be streaming Wednesdays starting January 11 @ 8:30 AM PT worldwide except Asia. FUNimation’s dub will be Wednesdays starting February 1 @ 7:00 PM PT. The series is based off Cool-kyou Shinja’s manga which has been running in Monthly Action since May 2013 and has been published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment since October 2016. Directed by Yasuhiro Takemoto at Kyoto Animation, Crunchyroll describes the series as:
Miss Kobayashi is your average office worker who lives a boring life, alone in her small apartment–until she saves the life of a female dragon in distress. An original anime called Handshakers is up next which Crunchyroll will stream Tuesdays starting January 10 @ 10:00 AM PT worldwide except Asia. FUNimation’s dub will premier Sundays starting January 29 @ 6:00 PM PT. The series is an original sharing many staff with the K series including the director, Shingo Suzuki and studio GoHands. Crunchyroll describes the series as:
Tazuna is a high school student, living in Osaka, who loves to fiddle around with machines. One day, he receives a repair request from an university laboratory. He accepts the request and ends up meeting a girl named Koyori, who has been bedridden for a very long time. Guided by something unknown, Tazuna touches Koyori’s fingertip, and they create a weapon called “Nimrod”. After creating the Nimrod, Tazuna hears a voice:
“Those of you who’ve overcome many battles and difficulties, who’ve had a revelation, and who intend to challenge Me are “Hand Shakers.””
Suddenly, Tazuna and Koyori get pulled into a whole different world called “Ziggurat”. In this world, there are Hand Shakers, two people who touch hands and create the Nimrod. Their goal is to defeat other Hand Shakers in order to gain an audience with “God”, who will grant them wishes. Bewildered by this new world before him, Tazuna tries to comprehend what’s happening. At that moment, Tazuna and Koyori are attacked by an unknown assailant.

Last up for today is Saga of Tanya the Evil which Crunchyroll will stream Fridays starting January 6 @ 7:30 AM PT worldwide except Asia. FUNimation’s dub will go up Mondays starting January 23 @ 7:00 PM PT. The series is based off Carlo Zen and Shinobu Shinotsuki’s light novel which is published by Enterbrain with 6 volumes released currently. The series will be directed by Yutaka Uemura at NUT and Crunchyroll describes it as:
It is June of the year CE 1923.
