Crunchyroll’s October 4 and 5 Simulcast Announcements

Starting off with Natsume Yujin-cho Go which Crunchyroll will air Tuesdays starting October 4 @ 12:00 PM PT in North America, South America, Central America, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Turkey. This is the 5th season of anime based off Yuki Midorikawa’s manga which has been running in LaLa DX since June 2003. The series is directed by Takahiro Omori at Shuka and Crunchyroll describes it as:

Takashi Natsume is a boy who’s been able to see youkai ever since he was a child. Ever since he inherited the “Book of Friends” from his grandmother Reiko, he and his self-proclaimed bodyguard Nyanko-sensei have spent their days returning names to the youkai who are bound by the book. As he meets the different youkai and people, he finds himself with many more things that he cares about. He wonders whether it’s right to keep secrets to protect someone as little by little he works up the courage to build even more friendships.

Next up is Cheating Craft which will air Wednesdays starting October 5 @ 4:15 AM PT worldwide except China, Japan and Korea. The anime is directed by Kietaro Motonaga and based off Gemini Xin Luo’s novel, Crunchyroll describes the series as:

University Exams are one of the most influential factors in one`s early life. Depending on the results, a fantastic, high class, honorable life may await you. Or, on the other end of the spectrum, you may be left only leftovers. Continuing on we have To Be Hero which will stream Wednesdays starting October 5 @ 4:00 AM PT worldwide except Japan, China and Korea. An original anime written and directed by Shinichi Watanabe, Crunchyroll describes the series as:

The protagonist, Old Man, is very attractive but a terrible slob, a failure as a father, and works as a toilet seat designer. He is divorced from his wife, and lives with his daughter, Min-chan, who is both very smart and athletic.

One day, as he was taking a dump, he was sucked into his toilet and given the important job of becoming a hero to save the world! He ends up having to give up his good looks for a chubby frame in exchange.

Old Man’s battle to protect the Earth and Min-chan is about to start…

A sequel titled Crane Game Girls Galaxy is up now which will air Wednesdays starting October 5 @ 8:30 AM PT in U.S.A., Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Netherlands, and Central and South America including Caribbean. An original anime done by Kyotama which Crunchyroll describes as:

The three Crane Game Girls are on a mission to protect Earth once again.

The Crane Game Girls release hit after hit and become a permanent fixture in the global idol scene thanks to their new manager, Tokiko.
Then one day…

The greatest tennis anime, Teekyu is back for its 8th season which Crunchyroll will be streaming every Wednesday starting October 5 @ 7:40 AM Pt worldwide except Asia (those regions will now apply to Teekyu 1-7 as well). Directed by Shin Itagaki at Millepense and based off Tsugeo Terada and Piyo’s manga which has been running in Comic Earth Start since Feb 2012, Crunchyroll describes the series as:

The series follows the hilarious everyday routines of four girls in the Kameido High tennis club who, on occasion, actually play some tennis.

To the hype of many is Sound! Euphonium 2 which Crunchyroll will stream Wednesdays @ 9:30 AM PT worldwide except Asia. Based off the novels by Takeda Ayano, Tatsuya Ishihara takes the directing role at Kyoto Animation. Crunchyroll describes the series as:

All Out!! is the next title which Crunchyroll will stream Thursdays starting October 6 @ 9:30 AM PT in USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Finland,Denmark, Iceland, and Latin America. Based of Shiori Amanse’s manga which has been running in Morning Two since November 2012 and directed by Kenichi Shimizu at Madhouse and TMS Entertainment, All Out!! will be receiving a dub from FUNimation. Crunchyroll describes the series as:

Another series which FUNimation will be dubbing, Kiss Him Not Me! which Crunchyroll will be streaming Fridays starting October 7 @ 10:00 PM PT in United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America. Adapted from Junko’s April 2013 manga which is running in Bessatsu Friend. The adaptation will be directed by Hiroshi Ishiodori and animated by Brain’s Base. Crunchyroll describes the series as:

Last up is KEIJO!!!!!!!! which Crunchyroll will stream Thursdays starting October 6 @ 9:00 AM PT worldwide except Asia. This serious sports anime will be directed by Hideya Takahashi at Xebec and is based Daichi Sorayomi’s manga which has been running in Shounen Sunday since July 2013. Crunchyroll describes the series as:

Nozomi Kaminashi is a fantastic gymnast, and in order to help her family out of poverty, has decided instead to become a competitor in a new women-only sport, Keijo.
