Flash Fire – A New Mini-Series from BlazeKick

Let’s face it. We may write infrequently on the site, but the thing is that we’re still gamers to our cores. We here at BlazeKick want people to know that. So one day, I came up with a crazy idea. “What if I made a mini-show for the site that is just a couple of members playing a game of their choice for maybe an hour or so?” This is that idea brought to life.

Flash Fire is a series made to just be a casual “we’re playing this, so enjoy the ride” show. It doesn’t matter what the game is, how old the game is, or what console it’s for. We choose the game and play it for an hour at a time. Then you, the viewers, get to choose if you want to see more of the game.

To kick off the show, Armando and I have decided to play an infamously hard game using an infamously bad port. You might have heard of it.

Let’s just say that we’re having a blast just talking and playing the game. It’s not necessarily a Let’s Play, and it’s not a walkthrough. It’s just us playing games we enjoy. So perhaps the series will be long lived for this reason, and you’ll get to see different games being played by quite a few of our members. It will be slow-starting at first, but once we get more members doing more recordings, we’ll get a little more frequent. Every session/game will be posted in their individual posts, so people can watch the show from here, from whatever series they want to watch, beginning to end.

These will be tagged under “Editorials/Podcasts.”

I'm an adept gamer with 15+ years of experience in the best and worst of gaming history. I've always believed that gameplay is the most important part of a video game in most instances. My favorite games are Super Mario 3D World, Journey, Yoshi's Island, Paper Mario, and Dust: An Elysian Tail.
