Nintendo Turns One Hundred Twenty-Five

Today (in Japan) Nintendo has turned 125! Nintendo was first founded in 1889 as a card company by Fusajiro Yamauchi. In fact, they hadn’t started working in the electronic video game area until the 1970s where they began by securing rights to distribute the Magnavox Odyssey video game console in Japan, and they have been working in that field ever since.

We here at BlazeKick would all like to wish Nintendo a happy 125 years and for luck in the future.

Everyone has that one special memory with Nintendo. Mine was playing Super Mario World with my dad on the SNES. What is your most treasured Nintendo memory? Leave a comment down below and let us know!
