Pokemon Bank is now available on the European 3DS eShop

pokemonbank_maindetail_enUPDATE —  It appears that Pokemon Bank is now available in Australia. Now all PAL territories have access to this service.

The moment that many Pokemon X and Y players has finally arrived. After being delayed for more than a month, Pokemon Bank is now available on the European 3DS eShop. It’s still not known if Pokemon Bank will arrive later today in North America, but it’s very likely.

Pokemon Bank will net you access to 100 boxes that can store 30 Pokemon each. That’s a total of 3000 Pokemon that can be stored using this service. Downloading Pokemon Bank will give you free access to the Poke Transporter app that allows you to transfer your Pokemon from Pokemon Black and White as well as Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 to Pokemon X and Y. Anyone who downloads Pokemon Bank between now and March 14th will receive a free 30-day trail. After this trial is over, you will have to pay £4.49 / €4.99 to gain access to this service for a year. Also, those who access Pokemon Bank between now and September 30th will receive the Legendary Pokemon Celebi as a gift.

We’ll keep you informed about the North American release of Pokemon Bank as soon as more details become available. If it does release in North America today, we’ll likely know in the coming hours.
