Sekai Project’s Anime Weekend Atlanta Announcements

Another anime convention has come and with it Sekai Project has a slew of announcements. This time they appear to have no updates on previously announced with just new announcements (although they may have been omitted from the press release so I’ll be sure to update if I see anymore) so let’s get into what they have announced!

Japanese High School Life (Sekai Project):

You’re a foreign exchange student who is filled with anxiety and excitement as your dream of living in Japan is finally becoming a reality! Get ready to meet the diligent and good-natured girls that will be spending a majority of your time with you. It is going to be one crazy-fun year!

I didn’t make a typo, this is Sekai Project’s first IP they are creating themselves! I’m getting Go Go Nippon vibes and that was a fun little experience so I’m fairly excited for this.

WAGAMAMA HIGH SPEC (Madosoft):

Madosoft’s latest project coming out spring 2016 is WAGAMAMA HIGHSPEC. You’re a romantic comedy manga author and one day due to an unexpected turn of events. The student council president Rokuonji Kaoruko discovers his secret. However she’s the manga’s artist….She promises to keep it a secret and in exchange he joins the student council.

This looks interesting. If you’re like me and thought this title sounded familiar but couldn’t place it that’s because it has an anime adaptation airing April 2106. It’s certainly a unique case so I guess you can watch and play at the same time? It is set to release in Spring 2016 but could be after the anime debuts.

Darekoi (Life a Little):

Oriibu Village… that was the name of this town, as well as this world. This otherworldly town has a nostalgic, retro-like flavor. For ages, it has prospered, and continues to prosper without end. Every corner of the place is bustling with people, and warmth. It is both old-fashioned, yet refreshingly new.
Neither magic nor spells exist here, but there is an aura of mystique. How long has it been since I, Yumesaki Haruki, have come to this world?
It feels like it’s been a few days. But it also feels like it’s been over a year. There is the passing of the day into night, back into day. However, you don’t feel the passage of time beyond that. The flowers that have once blossomed continue to stay in full bloom.

Not sure if Life a Little is the original creators but I don’t know what else the meaning of that is. Can’t say much about this as there isn’t much to say but I guess it’s interesting.

Highway Blossoms (Alienworks):

Developed by Alienworks, Highway Blossoms is a short yuri story set in the American Midwest. After an old gold rush miner’s journal is discovered, a nationwide craze begins as would-be prospectors try to solve the cryptic clues it contains and discover the miner’s hidden treasure. Amber, couldn’t care less. Wandering the Midwest in an inherited motorhome, she mourns the loss of her grandfather, totally unaware of the hunt taking place around her. It’s not until she meets Marina, a young hitchhiker wandering through the deserts of New Mexico, that things start to look up.

Well a fullyvoiced English VN is pretty rare (assuming it is fully voiced) and a yuri story taking place in New Mexico is a cool idea too. I’m certainly interested in this so hopefully it’s just as interesting as it seems!

The Orchard of Stray Sheep (Namaage)

Yamada Ichirou, a negative, self-proclaimed piece of trash, finds himself appointed as a teacher of an innocent and naive girl, Casserole. What secrets await him at this small, secluded island academy?

Where do I even begin with this one? I guess that I’m not sure if that’s the original creator or not that I credited (sorry!) but this looks like so much fun. Not only is the protagonist a “self-proclaimed piece of trash” but we have names like “Casserole” and “Peeler” for the girls. Just from the OP my favourite has to be Oros Zester for the quote “Every girl wants to lick cute girls!”.

Yume no Sono (Primum Soft):

Running away from the insanity of their own worlds, Iris Stella Marinari, and Tomii Reika always took refuge within their dreams. Stranded by the waves of time, they meet each other at the outskirts of the ghost town of Sumaq Urqu, the legendary City of the Lost Ones.
It has been said that one cannot cross the dream passage to Sumaq Urqu alone, so Iris and Reika must venture together into this mysterious city. Along the way the two will attempt to find the truth behind the disappearance of Reika’s mother and may also uncover horrors that have been sealed away by The Architect, the entity in control of Sumaq Urqu

Well the song is quite different. The title screen also looks like G-Senjou no Maou’s. I was sent a slide show talking about the characters in great deal which I’m not sure if I can show directly and I really don’t want to type it all out but there is a lot of description.

Well that’s it for the press release! If anything is added after I finished this originally it will either be bellow this or marked with it’s proper game. What looked the most interesting to you?
