Titanfall Beta Announced for Xbox One and PC

Vince Zampella, co-founder of Respawn Entertainment, has announced via Twitter that Titanfall will get a beta on Xbox One and PC. This announcement was expected after some retailers leaked that the game would receive a beta soon. Zampella didn’t give more information about this beta other than confirming that it exists. However, he pointed out that more details about this beta will be become available in the coming days.

Zampella  also revealed that the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall is being developed by Bluepoint Games. This is the studio that worked on the Ico & Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection for PlayStation 3 and on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale for PS Vita. Their most recent work was porting the PS3 game Flower to PS Vita and PS4. Due to the Xbox 360 version being outsourced, a beta for this system seems very unlikely.

We’ll keep you updated on all the information about the Titanfall beta as soon as more details become available.

Titanfall will release on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on March 11.
