Ubisoft’s guitar game, Rocksmith 2014 Edition, originally launched for the PS3, Xbox360 and PC is being ported to current-gen consoles, PS4 and Xbox One. This version is going to have some changes such as being in 1080p, which Ubisoft states that you will be able to see the notes as they pass by on screen, along with making the game look better. Rocksmith 2014 will also take advantage of current-gen’s streaming and video recording features because, according to Ubisoft, “no on becomes a rock god without an audience.”
The PS4 version will include remote play, supporting the Playstation Vita, so you can still play while away from the TV.
In Rocksmith 2014, you will have access to over 50 tracks and if you already have the game for Xbox 360 or PS3, you can import your songs to the new generation. However this is restricted to it’s own family line. Meaning Xbox 360 to Xbox One, and PS3 to PS4.
Lastly, Rocksmith 2014 for current gen will ship with the “real tone cable” allowing you to convert your guitar’s signal from analog to digital, so it will work on your console.
The port is set to launch on November 4, 2014 for PS4 and Xbox One.
Are you ready to become a rockstar? What song, if you could choose from any, would you like to play in the game?
