Words Can’t Even Begin to Describe My Gratitude

Hey there.

I bet you didn’t think there would be any message on this website at any point since our last post that kicked off the new year. But despite everything, I still feel this deep passion to write and tell stories. But no story we’ve ever written has ever meant as much as this one, to me. A lot of us at BlazeKick, we’ve matured beyond something I didn’t imagine, and I’m so proud of everyone that has worked here. Noah’s just starting his college career, Conor is still reviewing anime and VNs and doing a damn good job of making me inadvertently interested in watching some of them on Twitter, Armando has been working very deeply on his music career and making some real good stuff, and Kuro is working at a direct marketing firm.

Meanwhile, I’m just kicking off a Twitch career as an Affiliate. I can finally begin to entertain and inspire people the same way that I always dreamed about; the way that others entertained and inspired me over the past decade of being so deeply in love with the internet. That would never have started without everyone being there for me when things were looking real grim. I’ve made a lot of amazing friends over the years, but one of the highlights was spending several years making videos and writing on BlazeKick with some of the most passionate writers and content creators I know. Everything feels like it landed in the right place at the right time.

I just want you all to know that no matter where your life leads you all, that I’m so immensely honored and privileged to have worked with you over the years. This website, this network, isn’t going to just fade away. This is a place we’ve made for ourselves, to talk about what we love, and share that love with everyone, together. So despite how unbelievably short this article is, I wanted to thank everyone at BlazeKick.

This is not a goodbye, this is just a new chapter for all of us. But wherever we go in life, we’ll bring that drive to inspire others to follow their passion. To create and entertain others, to deeply analyze and criticize what we love, and to discuss that love with other, just as passionate, people in a welcoming environment. And BlazeKick will be waiting right here for when you are ready.

Thank you, everyone.

(P.S., in retrospect, we really could have done without review scores. Our writing styles didn’t work with numbers anyways.)
